Dr. Kostantinos A. Papadopoulos was born in Athens, Greece in February 25, 1978. He received his Dipl.-Ing and PhD degree respectively from the Electrical and Computer Engineering School of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh), Greece, in 2002 and from the Electrical and Computer Engineering School of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2011. Since 2004 he is a research associate at NTUA and the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS) and has participated in various national and EU research projects.  He currently works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Intelligent Communication and Broadband Networks Laboratory (ICBNET) of NTUA. His primary research interests include EM computational techniques, antenna and antenna arrays design, distributed processing methods with agent platforms, genetic algorithm and particle swarm based optimisation techniques. He has 10 publications in refereed international journals and in international conferences. Dr. Konstantinos Papadopoulos is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2003.
