| Asimina Michalopoulou was born in Athens, Greece, in 1982. She received the Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece in 2006. She has been a doctoral scholar at the Mobile Communications Laboratory of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of N.C.S.R. "Demokritos", Athens, Greece. From February to July of 2008 she was a visiting scholar at the Electroscience Lab at the Ohio state University. In 2013, she received her Dr.-Ing. degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA. Her research interests include mainly wireless communications, wearable antennas and ΜΙΜΟ systems. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
